The centimetre column was the honest part

On 27 September 2026 I had a paper outline of last year’s trainers taped to the kitchen table so it would not slide, and the Australian storefront open on a laptop that kept offering US, UK, EU, and centimetres as if those were interchangeable moods. They are not. Help still says Australian footwear numbers match US numbers. The last, meaning the actual shape inside the shoe, does not travel with the number. I measured the outline twice. Then I measured it again, because I have already paid postage for the privilege of being wrong, and I was not in the mood to do it for sport.

I was going to call Stylerunner a sports shop. That is not quite right. It is a women’s floor that happens to sell studio kit and street kit from one cart. The New Zealand tab sat one click away in a different currency. New arrivals were still described as landing most weekdays. Sale tiles looked a bit limp next to the size guide. I ignored the tiles.

The operator is still Accent Active Pty Ltd, Victorian postcode 3121, GST-registered from 25 October 2019. The ABN is 93 637 053 028. New Zealand terms still name the same owner and still apply Victorian law. Unpublished on that visit: a public, bot-free shipping page that would quote every postcode without making you open the cart. The cart was the quote. I used the cart.

Two sisters, then a listed group’s women’s floor

Julie and Sali Stevanja started the site in 2012. Accent Group bought it in November 2019 and kept the idea that made the sisters interesting in the first place: a destination built for her, not a unisex warehouse with a women’s filter glued on later. The first physical shop opened in Armadale in 2020, after eight years of being online only. Partner copy still calls it a destination exclusively for her. The catalogues on my check were women’s sizes and women’s models. You will not build a men’s kit here. You should not try.

Use the Australian storefront if you will pay in Australian dollars. Use the New Zealand storefront if you will pay in New Zealand dollars, GST sitting where the local rules put it. Terms say the site is not directed at people outside those two countries. A voucher blog that promises a hotel drop in another hemisphere is not a shipping policy. If you want an address the warehouse has never met, email customer care before you pay. Duties, if any, sit with you even on a served New Zealand address.

The house label is the quiet middle of the basket

Stylerunner The Label arrived in February 2021 as the group’s own vertical line. Early trade press talked about gym-to-brunch pieces, a black-grey-olive-rust palette, and drops every six to eight weeks. The first collection sat around fifty-nine to a hundred and twenty-nine dollars. On my September check the brand page still split the line into Form, Active, Seamless, Adaption, and Element. I am not walking the whole rack. Two pieces are enough to show the money: an Adaption tank around eighty dollars, and the Donita pant around a hundred and twenty. Promotional tiles still waved a top-and-bottom bundle near a hundred and twenty dollars. Those are merchandising tags, not a fabric laboratory.

The rest of the floor is other people’s labels. Performance cuts, Australian lifestyle knits, swim, imported trainers. Naming them all would turn this into a catalogue, and you can already filter that yourself. The house pieces are the practical way to cross the free-shipping line without adding a third pair of shoes you do not need.

Every listing has a guide. None of them share a last.

There is no single house chart. Australian help says each product carries its own size guide beside the selector, plus a library if you want to browse before you fall for a colour. Clothing filters on that Sunday ran XXS through XL in volume. XXL showed up in handfuls, not as a promise. Numeric Australian sizes sit beside letters. Footwear lets you switch formats; the cart keeps the one you chose; the confirmation email may reprint the manufacturer’s format. The warehouse packs the size, the actual size you tapped.

Help is blunt: Australian shoe sizing matches US sizing. That is a number match, not a comfort match. If you already own a pair, match centimetre length. Apparel letters wander from label to label. A greyed-out size is sold out nationally, not hiding in a back room for you. Find in Store by postcode if you would rather hold the unit than guess from a photo. (I still had the tape measure out from a hallway runner, which is not a last, but never mind.)

Open the AU or NZ storefront and read the size guide first Pick stylerunner.com/au or stylerunner.com/nz, switch the shoe chart to centimetres if you already traced a pair, and only then add a tight or a trainer to the cart.

Who this till is for, and who should walk past it

Use it if you want one Australian or New Zealand checkout for fashion-led activewear and trainers, Afterpay in four fortnights, and, in Australia, two Qantas Points per dollar on the goods, not on gift cards and not on shipping. Use it if you live near a shop and would rather try a trainer on carpet than argue with a photo. Bondi Beach, central Sydney, Chadstone, Armadale, Eastland, Pacific Fair, and Auckland’s Newmarket, Sylvia Park, and Albany floors were the named shops on my check. Hours move. Use the live locator. The house label at fifty to a hundred and twenty dollars is how a lot of carts clear the hundred-and-sixty-dollar free-shipping banner without looking desperate.

Skip it if you need men’s or children’s kit, a gait analysis, or compression that a clinician prescribed. Skip it outside Australia and New Zealand. Skip swimwear, underwear, headwear, jewellery, cosmetics, and drink bottles if you might change your mind: hygiene rules keep those. Skip Final Sale. Skip a BTQ badge if you assumed you could walk it back to a till; Australian help says those returns go by post only. Skip it if you need XXL in every label. There is no price-match against another retailer, and there is no refund because a tile went cheaper next week.

  • Shop here for a women’s multi-brand cart in AUD or NZD, with Afterpay and Australian Qantas Points on goods.
  • Shop here if a nearby store can hold a size, or if you will return an unused online order in person.
  • Skip it for men’s or children’s kit, a running-lab fitting, or an address the terms do not serve.
  • Skip hygiene lines and Final Sale if you want a change-of-mind refund.
  • Skip BTQ if you expected an in-store return; Australian help sends those back by post.
  • Skip it if you need XXL as a standard, or a price-match against another shop.

> If you need a gait lab, leave. If you need a women’s cart that will take an unused pair back in thirty days for a ten-dollar Australia Post label, stay, and open the product size guide before Afterpay. A men’s trail shoe or a hotel in another country belongs on a different site. > > — Noah Bennett

Pay, points, and the rule that you cannot unsend the order

Australian help lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Afterpay, Apple Pay, and e-gift cards online. Afterpay is four interest-free fortnights, first instalment at order; in a shop it is the Afterpay Card. Refunds go back to the original method. You must be eighteen. An order confirmation is not acceptance. The contract forms when shipment is confirmed. Once the order is placed you cannot cancel it. You return it, if it qualifies, under the returns policy.

Qantas members earn two points per Australian dollar, excluding gift cards and shipping. Add the number at checkout or scan the Qantas app in a shop. The published minimum for Points Plus Pay is two thousand points for ten dollars off. That is a discount on a later basket, not a reason to ignore the size guide on this one.

Freight, Click & Collect, and the fee the banner hides

Both storefronts advertised free shipping over a hundred and sixty dollars on 27 September 2026. The New Zealand homepage added free express at a hundred and sixty New Zealand dollars and free same-day Click & Collect at the nearest shop. Under that line, the cart is the quote. The shipping-info page sat behind a bot check that afternoon, which is why voucher-site claims of a flat fifteen-dollar fee are noise. What did irritate me — quietly, not as a scene — was how late the postage appeared if you had been browsing under the banner. Help confirms split warehouse dispatches and separate tracking emails. New Zealand terms default to Authority to Leave, with a collection-point redirect if the address looks unsafe. Delivery times are indicative. Some locations cannot be served.

Exchanges happen in a shop, not by post. Confirmed Australian addresses on my check included King Street in Sydney, Hall Street at Bondi Beach, Westfield Bondi Junction, High Street in Armadale, Eastland in Ringwood, Chadstone, and Pacific Fair at Broadbeach. Westfield still listed a Sydney flagship in Sydney Central Plaza. New Zealand shops sat at Westfield Newmarket, Sylvia Park, and Westfield Albany. Bondi Beach hours that day were nine to half past five Monday to Saturday and ten to five on Sunday. Use the live locator before you drive.

  • Free shipping advertised over a hundred and sixty dollars on both storefronts; the cart shows any fee below that.
  • New Zealand homepage: free same-day Click & Collect at the nearest shop, as advertised on the dated check.
  • Find in Store by postcode, then Click & Collect if you want the unit held.
  • Split warehouse dispatches arrive with separate tracking emails.
  • Online and Click & Collect orders can come back to a shop or by post.
  • Till purchases and Store to Door come back to a Stylerunner shop, not in a padded bag you invent.

Thirty days, a ten-dollar label, and the boxes that stay yours

Eligible online change-of-mind returns run thirty days from purchase. Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in the original packaging. Final Sale is out. The Australian returns portal is case-sensitive on order number and email; drop hashes and dashes from the order number or it just stares at you. Buy a ten-dollar Australia Post label, or use the QR code at the Post Office. Do not tape or sticker a shoebox. Keep the lodgment receipt. After warehouse inspection, refunds go to the original payment method within five business days. Outbound shipping and the return label are not refunded. You can cancel an unused label and ask for that ten dollars back. The portal is fussy about punctuation in the order number, which is better than a chat window that asks you to describe the parcel in three boxes.

Hygiene exclusions cover swimwear, underwear, cosmetics, headwear, drink bottles, and jewellery. Those stay yours. Exchanges for another size or colour are in shop only; a postal return is a refund. Online and Click & Collect orders may come back to any shop or by post. In-shop and Store to Door purchases must go back to a shop. Australian help says BTQ by Stylerunner comes back by post only. Faulty goods sit under Australian Consumer Law and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act: photograph the defect and write to customer care. High return frequency can close an account. That is a policy, not a dare.

What the hero tile leaves quiet

Stylerunner does not price-match another retailer. It does not refund a later markdown. Online and in-shop prices can differ and are not automatically transferable. If a return drops you below a promotional minimum spend, the discount is clawed back. Ethical-sourcing notes on the help centre refer to Accent Group supplier audits, not a garment-by-garment organic claim. Sneaker care is a protector, prompt dirt removal, a cleaner made for trainers, and no washing machine. That does not make an expensive trail shoe a lifetime object. For a men’s fit, a country outside Australia and New Zealand, or a running-lab fitting, use a specialist that actually stocks that service. Unpublished: a public price-match desk, a men’s department, and a shipping calculator that works with the shipping-info page blocked.

Stylerunner FAQ

Does Stylerunner ship outside Australia and New Zealand?

Use the local site: stylerunner.com/au in Australian dollars, or stylerunner.com/nz in New Zealand dollars including GST where it applies. Terms say that if the site does not satisfy the laws of a country other than Australia or New Zealand, it is not directed at people there and they should not use it. The same terms say some locations cannot be served. Coupon blogs that promise global delivery in a handful of days are not the terms. If you want a hotel drop outside those two countries, email customer care before you pay. Do not invent a workaround at checkout and hope the warehouse agrees later.

Is Australian shoe sizing the same as US sizing?

Yes, as a number. The Australian help article on selecting the right size states that Australian footwear sizing is the same as US sizing. You can still display UK, EU, or centimetres. The confirmation email may reprint the manufacturer’s format; the warehouse packs the size you chose. A US eight on one last is not automatically the same feel as a US eight on another. Match centimetre length if you already own a pair. Apparel has no single letter-size across the floor. Open the guide beside the selector every time. A greyed-out size is sold out nationally.

Can I cancel after I pay, or do I have to return it?

You return it, if it qualifies. Help is clear that once an order is placed you cannot cancel. An order confirmation is not acceptance; the contract forms on shipment confirmation. Eligible unused goods come back within thirty days through the portal or a shop, depending on how you bought. Afterpay refunds cancel remaining instalments and return amounts already paid once the warehouse accepts the return. Gift cards and shipping do not earn Qantas Points, and outbound postage is not refunded on a change-of-mind return.

What does a change-of-mind return actually cost?

In Australia the published path is a ten-dollar Australia Post label, or the QR code at the Post Office. You keep the lodgment receipt. After inspection, the refund hits the original method within five business days. The ten dollars and the outbound shipping stay with the retailer unless you cancel an unused label and ask for that ten dollars back. Do not tape the shoebox. In New Zealand, follow the local returns path on the New Zealand storefront rather than assuming the Australian label price. Faulty goods are a consumer-law path, not a change-of-mind label.

Can I return swimwear, a drink bottle, or Final Sale?

Not for change of mind. Hygiene rules cover swimwear, underwear, cosmetics, headwear, drink bottles, and jewellery. Final Sale is excluded even if the piece is unworn and still boxed. Eligible apparel and trainers can return unused within thirty days, in original packaging, via the ten-dollar label or in a shop for online orders. Exchanges are in-shop only. If a piece is faulty, photograph the defect and contact customer care. Do not treat a hygiene line as a fitting room that happens to ship.

How do Click & Collect and BTQ differ from a normal order?

Choose a size, then Find in Store by postcode. If a shop shows stock, help recommends Click & Collect to hold it. New Zealand advertised free same-day Click & Collect; Australian pages advertised Click & Collect without a same-day promise in the text I could capture, so wait for the ready message. Online and Click & Collect orders return in any shop or by post. Till purchases, including Store to Door, return in a shop. Stylerunner The Label uses the ordinary thirty-day path. BTQ by Stylerunner, a boutique mix on its own badge, returns by post only in Australia. Read the badge before you pay.

Do Qantas Points work on shipping and gift cards?

No. Australian help excludes gift cards and shipping from the two-points-per-dollar earn. Add your membership number at checkout or scan the app in a shop. Points Plus Pay starts at two thousand points for ten dollars off. That is Australian checkout maths. Do not assume the New Zealand storefront copies the same earn. If the points field is missing, you are on the wrong site or the membership is not attached yet.

Check the live freight line and 30-day return rules Choose stylerunner.com/au or stylerunner.com/nz, confirm the hundred-and-sixty-dollar free-shipping threshold and the unused-return window, then order the size the product guide lists.
